This kind of game isn't really my thing but the author (one of the authors?) dropped a link in the Magical Girl Game Jam Discord so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Immediately on opening I had a good first impression. The user interface looks really nice and fits the premise of the game. Minor nitpick, though: there are elements that look interactable, but aren't. The art style of the game isn't something I see often, but it works really well. I loved the look of it! In particular the road scenes with the animated background giving the impression of motion were my favourites. The mix of ambient sound and music also works tremendously well in terms of giving the game atmosphere.

It was really a rollercoaster in terms of tone; it can be really witty with the premise of Death as a delivery driver and some of Coco's interactions, but then it gets dark and messed up in places like Ryan's story and just heavy in general near the end. That was something I wasn't really expecting or prepared for. I think in general the story was pretty good, it just isn't my thing.

The ending wasn't really a twist; I was pretty sure it was going to be either one of two things and I was right. After the fact I realized, though, isn't what happened inconsistent with Ryan's story?

The gameplay was a bit of a mixed bag. I liked the point and click sections and they were spaced well to break up the dialogue and add some variety to the gameplay, but some parts were very pixel hunt-y. I wasn't actually able to solve the spoken word puzzle; I ended up looking in the game files for the answer. The password puzzle was better designed.

Finally, I don't know if it's a deliberate reference or a coincidence, but one character shares his name with the protagonist of Modern Warfare.

I did expect a funny Story about a lil girl mseeing with some incarnation of Death. Which this was...

!!! SPOILER INCOMING !!!

THe Twist at the End really had impact, but i like it. It makes somewhat sense within the universe and the its written really well. Most Characters had nice develepments within this short adventure. The only little downside was waking the old man, finding the correct word/spelling was a bit meh. Maybe allow more general fitting phrases.
